Biography

NABUMA are a Cyprus-based four-piece creating an expressive, explosive and colourful blend of neo-soul, jazz and alternative R&B. Rooted in jazz and neo-soul, their sound draws from the different musical backgrounds of each member, bringing elements of rock and alternative pop into a distinctive, multidimensional identity.

Their six-track debut EP Tapedeck (2024) established their genre-blending sound, followed by Sunny Rays (2026), marking a fresh and energetic chapter for the band. In 2026, NABUMA gained international recognition after placing 3rd in the Thomann × Shure competition, competing for the opportunity to perform at Montreux Jazz Festival.
